| The McFarland Inn is an ideal location for small, intimate weddings and receptions. Our beautiful sunroom opens onto a large deck that leads to a huge back yard. In the spring, the gardens and lawn are lush and green. Indoor ceremonies and receptions will hold up to 30 guests comfortably. Because of the high volume of overnight guests during the summer months, we will not be hosting weddings in June, July, August or September. The inn is also a lovely location for AFTERNOON TEA ( see below). Our living area is an ideal setting for small cocktail or holiday parties. |
| Wedding Packages Below are the wedding packages we offer. We will work with you to make sure your wedding day is beautiful and special. Package A - Bride and Groom Only * Bride and Groom and up to two witnesses * One hour * $150.00 not inculuding tax Package B - Wedding Ceremony Only * Wedding ceremony for up to 10 people * Two hours * $250.00 not including tax Each additional guest - $10.00 * $25.00 for dressing room * Includes chairs and two floral arrangements Package C - Wedding and Reception * Wedding ceremony and reception for up to 15 guests * Three hours * $25.00 for dressing room * Coffee, punch and table setting (glasses, plates, silverware, table cloths and napkins, mints and nuts, and three floral arrangements provided. *$500.00 not including tax Each additional guest - $10.00 Each additional 1/2 hour - $50.00 Extra Costs: * Ordained, non-denominational, minister - $75.00 * Floral arrangements other than those indicated above * Wedding Cake * Tents, extra tables, trellis, archway, etc. * McFarland Inn catered hors d'ouevres - price based on items selected and number of guests. Notes: * A deposit of 50% is required at the time of the reservation with the balance 50% due 10 days prior to the wedding. Full refund will be given if cancelled 14 days in advance. |
| Afternoon Tea Afternoon tea at the McFarland Inn is a special occasion! The teas are held in our sun room and can serve up to 15 people comfortably. We serve a four course tea. The first course is a selection of finger sandwiches. Next are scones with clotted cream and home made jam and the third course consists of an assortments of pastries.We finish off the tea with chocolate covered strawberries if they are in season. If not, we substitute home made truffles. All of our teas are imported from England. Only our best china, crystal and silver are used for the table settings. Cost per person is $30.00 plus tax. Our teas are by reservation only and we generally need 14 days to prepare. We require a minimum of 6 people. |
