Coeur d'Alene offers a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities. The center piece of our city is Lake Coeur d'Alene, one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. It is the gem of the Northwest. Within Kootenai County, there are 87 parks and camp grounds and 47 hiking trails. Bike riding, skiing, fishing, swimming, hiking, golfing, horseback riding, and amusement parks are just some of the activities you can participate in.The McFarland Inn is in a perfect location to allow you easy access to all of the major activities in the Coeur d'Alene area and Northern Idaho. We are 1/2 mile from the beach and city park and just a few blocks from Sherman Avenue, Coeur d'Alene's "main street". We have adult bikes that guests can borrow to tour around town or ride many of the beautiful bike trails in the area.
