This sunny second floor room features a luxurious queen size bed and is decorated in a lovely soft yellow and white color palate with soft accents of blue and green. The large south facing window overlooks the front yard. The walk-in closet has ample hanging space and is large enough to store all of your suitcases. The room includes a lounge chair with reading lamp, desk with chair, tables on both sides of the bed with reading lamps, wireless internet access, cable TV with ability to play movies. The large full private bath with huge new shower is outside of the room, only a few steps across the hall. Guests staying in this room do not share the bathroom with any other guests. Pronounced “koot-knee”, this room is named for the group of Native Americans who lived in North Idaho, Canada and Montana in the 18th century. Coeur d’Alene is located in Kootenai County.

Built in 1905, the McFarland Inn is located on a quiet, tree lined street in the historic Garden District neighborhood of Coeur d'Alene in North Idaho. The home is within easy walking distance of Lake Coeur d'Alene and the historic downtown district. The home has five luxury guest rooms, all with private baths. A full gourmet breakfast is served daily in our lovely sunroom overlooking our huge backyard garden. Every detail exists for your enjoyment and relaxation. Coeur d'Alene is a bike friendly town and the popular Centennial Trail is only 6 blocks from the inn. We have bikes (free of charge) for guests who wish to experience the beauty of this trail or take a leisurely ride around town to experience Northern Idaho.
